IEEE publishes a significant amount of the world's technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics. It also develops international standards for a wide range of industries and hosts more than 1,800 conferences annually worldwide.
The IEEE Maharashtra Section is one of the largest and most vibrant sections in IEEE Region 10 (Asia-Pacific). Established to serve IEEE members across Maharashtra, we have grown to become a significant hub for technical excellence and professional development in India.
Our section comprises over 2,000 members, including students, young professionals, and senior professionals from academia, industry, and research institutions. We operate through 50+ Student Branches across Maharashtra's premier engineering colleges and 15+ professional chapters covering various technical fields.
The section organizes numerous technical events, workshops, conferences, and seminars throughout the year, providing platforms for knowledge sharing, networking, and professional growth. We actively collaborate with industry partners, academic institutions, and government organizations to advance technology education and innovation in Maharashtra.

The IEEE Maharashtra Section is governed by an Executive Committee (ExeCom) elected by the members. The committee comprises the Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and other office bearers who volunteer their time to lead the section's activities.
